Talent Group Bios

Our senior account managers provide complete talent payment management services to their clients. Individually, they display an exceptional level of experience in their field, and a proactive involvement in managing their clients’ talent payments. Collectively, they represent a complete resource capable of meeting the variety of challenges faced by advertising agencies in a market filled with complex union requirements and constantly evolving new media.

Callum Benepe, Senior Account Manager
Prior to joining Spotlight, Callum worked with the AFM in Los Angeles, where he served as the contract administrator for the Commercial Announcements Agreement, covering sessions produced throughout the US. During his tenure at the AFM he participated in negotiations with the Joint Policy Committee. Callum is Spotlight’s authority on music-related issues.

May Chee, Senior Account Manager
With a history that includes CED, DMB&B, Center for Talent Payment, and Screen Actors Guild, May provides her clients with the depth of knowledge and experience critical to the successful management of their accounts.

Tina DeVries, Senior Account Manager
Tina brings a broad perspective to her position at Spotlight, having worked at DDB/NY, Abrams Artists Agency and Broadcast Talent & Residuals (BT&R.) Her background in broadcast business affairs and talent payments gives her an exceptional ability to direct client business.

Keio Gaetano, Senior Account Manager
Experienced in all facets of talent payments and broadcast business affairs, Keio has a thorough understanding of what’s required to make broadcast business run smoothly. Her background includes Deutsch, D’Arcy and Broadcast Traffic & Residuals (BT&R) where she rose to become director of talent payment. Keio specializes in rights acquisitions, celebrity negotiations and international broadcast administration.

Debbie Hickey, Senior Account Manager
With a history that includes Broadcast Traffic & Residuals (BT&R), D’Arcy and Talent Partners, Debbie not only understands the demands that face an agency, she knows how to streamline the talent payment process.

Dawn Kerr, Senior Account Manager
Dawn comes to Spotlight from Euro RSCG, where she was director of talent payments for over 4 years. Dawn has extensive experience in celebrity negotiations, rights acquisitions and complex global advertising issues. Dawn has also served as a member of the Joint Policy Committee.

Karen Kramer, Senior Account Manager
Originally starting at Talent Partners, Karen spent 13 years with Keller Talents, covering the unique talent payment needs of small to medium-sized advertising agencies. She has an exceptional knowledge of all aspects of talent payment, and is also an expert on Actors’ Equity collective bargaining agreements.

Joe Modic, Senior Account Manager
With a history that includes FCB, Ogilvy & Mather, Talent Partners and Team Services, Joe has directed talent payments for many top agencies and advertisers. He brings a vast array of experience, from complex international and celebrity payments, to work on the negotiating committee for AAAA.

Carole Seif, Senior Account Manager
Carole’s career began at Bates Advertising and continued with Broadcast Business Consultants, both based in New York. Working with agencies and advertisers, Carole has extensive experience in all facets of talent payment, including expertise in celebrity contracts, global production and licensing.

Mary Stewart, Senior Account Manager
Mary brings a distinctive history in commercial production to her role at Spotlight, having worked on campaigns for numerous leading advertisers through agencies such as Leo Burnett, BBDO, DDB Chicago, Publicis/Hal Riney and J. Walter Thompson. As a specialist in broadcast business affairs, Mary is experienced in negotiating celebrity talent agreements, acquiring music rights and addressing the complex issues involved in coordinating media buys with talent budgets.

Jeff Ward, Senior Account Manager
Jeff joined Spotlight after 16 years as director of talent payments at McCann-Erickson Worldwide/NY and is highly experienced in the demands of large advertising agencies and global brands. Jeff has also worked extensively with AAAA talent payment initiatives as New York Chairperson of the Broadcast Policy Committee.

Jane Hollinger, Account Manager
Before joining Spotlight, Jane launched her career at the Center for Talent Payment. In addition to being New York office’s expert on the SAG and AFTRA Industrial agreements, she also manages numerous commercial and Equity accounts.

Violet Sukdeo, Talent Payment Manager
Violet came to Spotlight from the agency side of the business, having worked at D’Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles. Violet now handles talent payments for numerous US clients, as well as foreign agencies producing commercials in the US.

Michael Hurley, Talent Coordinator
After many years as the Talent Payroll Manager at CTP, Michael joined Spotlight and is now at the front end of the whole process. Beyond managing his own accounts, Michael assists with organizing some of the largest and most demanding productions our clients submit.

Charles Duke, Talent Coordinator
As the Talent Payment Manager at Grossman & Jack Talent in Chicago, Charles came to Spotlight with a solid understanding of the business (and a strong familiarity with our checks). Charles also helps manage several of our online client support initiatives.
